Our photography packages are designed to fit around all the milestones you will encounter over your baby's first year - from bump to newborn, sitting to standing we can capture the events and present you with high quality framed photographs which will be treasured forever.

How do I book a sitting?
Once you have decided on the package you require please contact us using our or phone Shop4Baby on (01925) 659066. We have sessions avaliable during the day, evening or weekend. Once we have pencilled you in we require you to pay a £25 deposit (via cheque made payable to Shop4Baby) to secure your booking. Once we have received your cheque we will phone you to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is payable during the sitting, via cash or cheque. Which Areas of the UK do you cover?
Unfortunately we can currently only offer the packages to residents who live within 30 miles of Warrington.
How the Sessions Work
All photography package sessions will be conducted in the comfort of your own home / garden as we have found that babies especially are more settled within familiar surroundings and mums and dads are more relaxed as the need to get everyone ready and travel to a studio is eliminated. Our photographer has his own studio equipment which includes lights, cushions and drapes so there is no need to worry about providing anything other than some of your baby's favourite toys.
Each sitting lasts approximately 1 hour in which 30-50 photos will be taken. After the sitting we will send you a proof card with all your photos on so you can pick to ones you like. Although only 1 (or 2 depending on the package) can be chosen within the cost of the package there will be the opportunity to purchase additional prints - an order form and details of how to place your order will be provided along with your proof card.
Shop4Baby is proud to use frames and mounts provided by
Warrington Framing Company for all it's framed photographs. We offer 5 different frames (light wood, dark wood, gold, silver and black) and 3 different mount colours (baby pink, baby blue and ivory). Sample frames will be avaliable for you to see during your session.
What Should I Wear?
For your family portrait sitting you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in, although bright colours work best. Try not to wear very light colours in any but the bump shots as they can get washed out by the whiteness of the setting. Bump shots look very effective if you cannot see any clothing in the shot, fabric can be used to drape over body parts you do not wish to expose. However, we will only take photos that you feel happy and comfortable to pose for.
Babies and small children also photograph well in bright colours or in their birthday suit, using towels and fabric to conceal body parts. Again, the attire is completely your choice, and if you have any ideas of image styles then please dont be afraid to ask and we will be happy to accomodate your wishes.
The Photographer
Michael Chambers is the husband of Cara, who owns and runs Shop4Baby. An ameteur photographer for many years, Mike's skill in photographing babies and young children was discoved afer the birth of his first daughter in January 2006 and this prompted Mike to begin studying towards a Diploma in Professional Photography.
Mike gained experience working with children whilst working for Warrington Borough Council and is CRB checked as well as holding a valid first aid certificate.
While you can be assured you are in capable and professional hands with Mike, we understand that some women would prefer to be photographed by a woman - especially when it comes to bump shots. Therefore, we can arrange for Cara to accompany Mike to the session and take the bump pictures herself. Cara is also CRB checked and qualified in paediatric first aid.
